Creation of the "Taps de finca" brand to encourage the use of local cork and increase the competitiveness of DO Empordà wineries
The project aims to establish an organizational method to facilitate the use of local cork by the wineries integrated within the Denomination of Origin Empordà as well as to propose a marketing strategy that puts the value of this Catalan cork extracted in the area of influence of the DO Empordà territory. The project will foster relationships between owners of Catalan cork, cork preparers, cork manufacturers, research centers and wineries that use these corks.
