University training: Knowledge transfer to oenology students at the Rovira i Virgili University

The Catalan Cork Institute reinforces its commitment to training new generations through collaboration with the Rovira i Virgili University.

In this context, Jose Castro, quality manager at the Cork Lab Centre, gave a session to students of the Oenology degree, addressing the role of cork in wine from its origin to the final stopper.

The session combined technical content with practical exercises to analyze aromatic descriptors and understand the evolution of cork during the manufacturing process, thus contributing to more complete and applied training.
