On December 19, the recognition ceremony for the representatives of the program was held in the Saló de Sant Jordi in the Palau de la Generalitat ambassadors, of the Catalan Tourism Agency, and als Catalonia Trade & Investment Ambassadors of ACCIÓ, which with their actions collaborate in the economic projection of Catalonia and its positioning in the world from the tourism and business side.

the program ambassadors, promoted by the Catalonia Convention Bureau of the Catalan Tourism Agency, brings together internationally recognized professionals who help promote Catalonia as a venue for hosting congresses, meetings and events. It is currently made up of 132 leading Catalan professionals, from different economic sectors and from all over the Catalan territory.

In this sense, Albert Hereu, director of the Institut Català del Suro, is part of this collective and likewise, Guillem Genover, representing the European Network of Cork Territories - RETECORK. The ICSuro through the activity around the cork gives international visibility and projection in the territory.

The event was attended by the Minister of Business and Knowledge, Jordi Baiget, the Secretaries of Business and Competitiveness, Joan Aregio, and the Secretary of Business and Knowledge, Xavier Gibert. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Institutional Relations and Transparency, Raül Romeva, also attended.
