Cork, protagonist in the program Tast Vertical on Catalunya Ràdio

The president of the Institut Català del Suro, Joan Puig, participated in the program Tas Vertical de Catalunya Ràdio, in an interview conducted by Empar Moliner and Sole G. Insua focused on the present and future of natural cork.

During the conversation, the virtues of cork in the world of wine, the environmental commitment of the industry, the role of cork stoppers in great wines and the international dimension of the sector were addressed. The Taps de Finca project was also highlighted.

The interview served to highlight the importance of research and innovation, as well as the safety and guarantee of natural cork stoppers, and to vindicate the value of the territory, the cork groves and the social role of the sector in generating economic activity and employment.
