One of the objectives of this project was to economically assess the environmental services supplied by the cork oak forests in Catalonia, which provide value to society in the form of direct and indirect environmental benefits. Human well-being depends on ecosystems and the multiple goods and services they provide (food, fuel, water, protection, etc.).
