The Catalan Cork Institute, together with the Center for Scientific and Technological Research of Extremadura (CICYTEX) and the University of Cádiz (UCA), have organized, with the collaboration of the AlmaNatura Foundation, a Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the cork grove, in the municipality of Arroyomolinos de León, province of Huelva.
The meeting will take place on the days April 24 and 25 and will have two thematic sessions:
“From extraction to innovation: the future of the cork oak forest”, which will address the latest trends in the cork sector in new applications, as well as advanced techniques for the practice of cork extraction and holm oak forest management.
“Creativity and sustainability: entrepreneurship in the cork oak forest”, focused on the entrepreneurial opportunities offered by the holm oak forest and its surroundings.
Both sessions are free and are intended for the general public.
