[JOB OFFER] Laboratory technician to cover maternity leave

The Institut Català del Suro must fill a laboratory technician job in Palafrugell, labor force, professional group 2, to replace a maternity leave, in accordance with the data specified below.

2. Participation requirements

Given the Government Agreement dated June 13, 2017,

Phase I: As a priority, permanent workers in the service of the administration of the Generalitat de Catalunya or with the bodies and entities of its public sector, of labor group B1.

Phase II: Exceptionally, and in the event that no person who meets the requirements of phase I appears, applications from people who meet the following requirements will also be taken into account:

  • Qualification required to access group B1
  • Certificate of proficiency in the Catalan language (level C1) from the General Directorate of Linguistic Policy or equivalent

3. Functions of the site

  • Entry of samples
  • Carrying out chemical, microbiological and physical tests on wine and cork samples
  • Maintenance of laboratory equipment
  • Control and maintenance of quality records

4. Aspects that will be assessed

  • Knowledge of chromatography
  • Experience in LIMS (Lab Information Management Software)
  • Experience in ISO 17025 accredited laboratories
  • Experience in wine and cork analytics

5. Form in which the position will be occupied

Replacement temporary employment contract

7. Selection procedure

  • Verification of participation requirements and study of the curriculum to assess aspects related to the job to be filled
  • Depending on the results obtained, candidates may be invited to a personal interview and/or a test to expand the information detailed in the curriculum and assess aspects related to professional skills
  • Interested persons must have the originals of the certificates certifying the training and work experience mentioned in the curriculum and must present them in case they are required
