The Catalan Cork Institute has co-organized the Cork Works conference: uses of cork in construction, together with the Consorci de les Gavarres and the GRETA project.

The meeting brought together more than forty professionals to share experiences and knowledge about the applications of cork in the field of sustainable construction and the bioeconomy.

Researcher Maria Verdum presented a paper on cork applications in architecture, highlighting the potential of this material in the development of more efficient and sustainable buildings.
