Within the Go Suber* project, and in order to check the viability and efficiency of cork in its application on green roofs, from ICSuro we are carrying out a comparative study with a self-supporting facade anchored to the ground with gabions, which is formed by two columns of four rows of gabions.
As we explained in theexplanatory article of the project, last November, the sensors will monitor in-situ and in real time the conditions of the facade to be able to obtain the first results of physical parameters for the first quarter of 2020.
The sensors were installed at the end of December, so it is expected to have the first results in April and they will correspond to the environmental analyzes of the winter.
The sensors installed are of the Smart Citizen brand, which measure on site parameters in real time and work by sending the data to a networked virtual platform. The sensors have been developed by Fablab BCN.
Everyone can check anyone's results in real time sensor to the smartcitizen website.
Each of the sensors measure the parameters next:
– Air temperature
– Relative humidity
– Environmental noise
– Ambient light
- Atmospheric pressure
– CO2 equivalent
– Volatile organic components
– Particles in suspension
