On March 16Catalan Institute of Cork organized an Ecodesign and Ecoinnovation Workshop in the cork sector. In this workshop they collaborated: AECORK, the University CUD Zaragoza, Inédit-Innovación SL, sustain, ICTA and the UAB. This day was part of the 25th anniversary that ICSuro has celebrated this year and is part of its strategic lines related to the new applications of cork.

The workshop was attended by more than 30 people from different disciplines interested in working with the cork material. The aim of this workshop was to bring together researchers, architects, companies developing new cork products, universities, etc. with the purpose that projects or ideas can arise that can materialize. On the same day, the call for entrepreneur award/ business idea with cork in which it was intended to recognize the work and originality of those new products made with cork.
