On Tuesday, November 24, the ICSURO i AGILE, are organizing a conference on chromatographic applications in the agri-food sector from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the headquarters of the Institut Català del Suro.
thegoal of this conference is to learn about the novelties and applications of gas chromatography in the food and beverage industry directed to quality control and/or gas chromatography technicians in the agri-food sector (cork, wine and meat industry).
The program is the following:
10am: Welcome from the Director of the Catalan Institute of Cork, Albert Hereu.
10.05am: Latest technologies in gas chromatography. Jaume Santamaria Sales Agent AGILENT TECHNOLOGIES.
10.45am: Key analyzes for quality assurance in the food market: Food Safety. Juan Jose Rivero. Product Specialist GC & GCMS AGILENT.
11.15am: COFFEE BREAK
11.30am: Experimental design in the analysis of volatiles in food using the SPME/GC/MS technique. José A. Garcia-Regueiro. IRTA analysis laboratory advisor.
12.15pm: Practical cases of mass/mass gas chromatography: Quality controls in corks and detection and quantification of aromas in wines. Anna Oliveras Head of Analytical Chemistry ICSURO.
