In April, the Institut Català del Suro started a recycling campaign for natural cork stoppers. After the successful pilot test 'We give a second life to the cork', which we carried out together with INNOVI, Codorniu, Lavola and Plusfresc supermarkets, we have created some containers that we place at fairs such as Alimentària or the Fira del Vi de Falset, and also fixed ones such as the one we have at the Museu del Suro in Palafrugell.
The collected corks are crushed and will be used for a research projects of the R+D+i department.
