Last January 31, we co-organized, together with Habitat Cluster Barcelona (HCB), one monographic session on cork, as a natural and sustainable element for the manufacture of habitat products.
Our director Albert Hereu presented the event and explained the importance of creating new applications to be able to reuse the 100% of Catalan cork. Maria Verdum, from R+D+i department , presented the Ecodesign catalog with cork and explained the different properties of cork as a material and the different formats in which we can find cork for different applications (see presentation at the end of the article). Then, different speakers presented their projects where they use cork as the main material.

After the coffee break, the Cluster Manager of the HBC, Bárbara Urdillo, facilitated a session of Manual Thinking, where the attendees solved different challenges working in tables led by the different speakers.
